We were sure glad we found this place to spend the night while in the area. The original house is well taken care of. Beautiful. We stayed in the L shaped motel built in the side yard back in the 50’s. Our room was huge with two beds an a sofa. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. The breakfast in the morning (served in dining room of main house) was very good. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area an love history.

The rooms are so quaint and very clean. The courtyard is beautiful. It’s just like the secret garden. Breakfast was delicious. They have a very nice fruit and pastry bar that you can munch on, then they take your order and make you a hot breakfast. The food was so good and the breakfast room is a gorgeous sun room. The staff was incredibly kind! I highly recommend the MV Inn for any of your visits to Mount Vernon.
